After Being Abandoned In Garbage, The Twinkle In This Pit Bull's Eye Leads Him To His Forever Home
Thank goodness the Wichita Animal Action League has ears and eyes across the city. They are doing an excellent job of ensuring that stray and rescued animals receive the attention and care they need to live good lives in decent and loving homes.
One of their adopters heard something inside a trash can while taking out her garbage. Her entire body quivered as she looked inside.
A pit bull was trapped in his crate at the bottom of the trash can. The dog, later named Bowie, was extremely skinny and appeared exhausted, as if he had given up ages ago.
Bowie’s owner didn’t care what happened to the poor dog. However, his fortune was about to change because the pup now had people who cared about him.
The woman who found him contacted the rescue organization, and Bowie was taken to a nearby veterinary hospital. They were shocked by his condition and had no choice but to admit him. He required veterinary care over the next week.
Bowie was courageous and friendly to everyone around him. In his own way, he was cautious yet loving.
After a week at the hospital, he moved in with his foster mom and dad. They were experienced in caring for dogs like Bowie and provided him with excellent care.

Most importantly, Bowie needed to gain weight, and slow feeders were used to prevent him from eating too quickly. Because Bowie lacked body fat, he was prone to getting cold and shivering, so he was dressed in pajamas to keep him warm.

Bowie was fully prepared to go to his new foster family months later, and he looked so much better. He was overjoyed to meet his new adoptive parents, Connie and Matt, who even made a big welcome sign for him!
Bowie was so brave! He warmed up to everyone around him

Bowie was a bit of a crybaby initially, which was understandable considering he was in a strange place with strangers. But as time went on, Bowie began to bond with his new parents through perseverance and love.

Connie was utterly in love with Bowie, and Bowie felt the same way. A few days later, Connie texted her husband, Matt, while he was at work, and this text changed the course of Bowie’s life permanently.

Bowie is such an adorable pet, and it is hard to understand why his owner left him to rot. Whatever you want to call it—whether it was God or pure luck—Bowie has found a forever home that will love and care for him for the rest of his adorable life.
Lend us your voice to combat these terrible and inhumane treatments of these lovely creatures. Pets, if loved and well cared for, definitely turn out to be lifelong companions for their owners.
