Adopted Pit Bull Was Just In Time To Save His Little Human Friend Who Was Having A Seizure
When people visit shelters, they tend to overlook pit bulls, primarily because of their breed. However, pit bulls can be incredible family dogs, and Ember is a testament to that fact.
Ember is a female pit bull mix who was found alone on the streets and rescued by Adore-A-Bull Rescue, Ohio's first rescue organization for pit bulls. Fortunately, the Daniels family adopted Ember shortly after the passing of their beloved Derby, who was also a pit bull.
Little did this family know that Ember would show her appreciation by saving the lives of their 10-year-old child and her new best friend, Tre. When Ember joined the family, she and Tre immediately bonded, and this close connection ultimately saved the little boy's life.
Tracy, Tre's mom, told Local 12 that they were settling down when Ember sat close to the bed, emitting a genuine low growl. She added that it wasn't quite a snarl; it was just an unusual grumble.
Tracy got up, thinking perhaps Ember wanted to go outside, but that wasn’t the case. According to her post, Ember entered their room early in the morning and woke them up, which was unusual since she typically doesn't wake them so early.

As Tracy got up to let her out, Ember ran directly into the children's bathroom, where Tracy found Tre in the bathtub having a full seizure. Tre was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
Tracy wrote that everything appears to be back to normal and that they are resting at home.

The Daniels family credits Ember with saving Tre and believes this act should demonstrate to others that pit bulls are incredible dogs as well. The family also expressed their gratitude to the rescue that saved Ember and allowed them to meet her in the first place.
Every night, Ember stays close to Tre, sleeping at the end of his bed. This story teaches us that we should not rush to judge a dog based solely on its breed.
