Tiny Jack Russell Puppy Reunites With The Police Officer Who Rescued Him
Police officers have sworn to serve and protect all beings, including animals. These animals have rights as well, especially against cruelty.
We have heard countless stories about courageous police officers who put their lives at risk to save not just our beloved pets but also helpless wild animals. These animals have shown their gratitude to those who saved their lives from the dangers they faced during their rescue.
This story exemplifies how grateful this little pup is to the police officer who saved his life. This little pup is a six-month-old Jack Russell named Bubba.
He was rescued by Officer Laurich while conducting a raid on a property in Tustin, California. From what the officers observed, Bubba appeared to have been abused by his owners.
Bubba seemed confused when the officers came across him. Fortunately, Officer Laurich was quick to take the scared Bubba and wrap him in a blanket.
The officers immediately took the little pup to the local shelter — Orange County Animal Care. Despite the short time that they (Bubba and Officer Laurich) were able to bond, they instantly became close.
Their reunion is heartwarming, as they seem to be the best of friends. Check the photos to see how excited both were when they finally held each other again.
Here's Bubba carried by his hero, Officer Laurich.
Look at that genuine smile on Officer Laurich's face as he holds Bubba for another memorable pose. Bubba's eyes seem to be conversing.
A couple of months after their first encounter during the rescue, Officer Laurich decided to visit Bubba at the shelter. There was so much joy for both in this lovely encounter.
The moment he spotted his savior and hero, his reaction was heartwarming. Everyone's heart melted as it was a moment filled with emotion and pure joy.

Bubba is ready to play with his favorite human, Officer Laurich.
Seeing Bubba energetic and happy is a good sign that he has quite recovered from the trauma he experienced when rescued by the officers. Plus, this interaction will really help him recover even faster.

He loves that so much. More giggles from belly rubbing.
It’s as if Officer Laurich is saying, "Yes, that's my boy!" Bubba, on the other hand, seems to be saying, "And that is my hero!"

The Tustin Police Department shared Bubba and Officer Laurich's sweet reunion on their Facebook page. This is what they wrote:
"Today we visited Orange County Animal Care and reunited Bubba with Officer Laurich. Officer Laurich is the original officer who took Bubba into custody.
Bubba looked very healthy and happy, and both he and Officer Laurich seemed to thoroughly enjoy their time together."
At the moment, Bubba is on his way to a full recovery. As soon as he is ready, the shelter will line him up with other dogs for adoption.
But one thing is for sure... Are you sensing the same?
Officer Laurich will be at the top of the list of those who will be adopting this sweet little Bubba. That would be such a sweet reunion.
