Nong Horm Rose to Fame After Defeating a Snake in Her Family’s Yard
This pit bull gave her life to defend her owners! As a result of killing a snake in her family's yard, Nong Horm, a pit bull from Pathum Thani in central Thailand, became well-known.
She bravely confronted one of the world's deadliest snakes while nearing the end of her pregnancy. When the snake was nearly dead, the pit bull bit it on the lips, and the venom quickly entered her body.
The pregnant dog was ultimately killed by the snake's toxin. The family was helpless to prevent the disaster from occurring, as it happened so quickly.

The owner of the brave pregnant dog, Suriyon Chanthakhet, expressed his deep concern for what happened.
“Our beloved dog died defending us from the snake. My heart is broken. I started crying just thinking about how miserable she must have felt,” he admitted.
Suriyon can be seen in the image below, asking the puppies why this tragic event had to happen to them as he laments the loss of his dog, Nong Horm. Nong Horm was a beautiful heroine despite the horrific circumstances she faced.
