Street Performer Consoled By Four-Legged Friend After Being Shunned By Passersby
It was a pleasantly cool day in the streets of Columbia as Wara Rico leaned out of his window to take in some fresh air. Little did he know that he was about to witness a scene that would become the highlight of his day.
There it was! A young man with a microphone stood at a busy junction, busking for some change. Rico watched intently as the street performer walked back and forth, singing passionately; yet, the man struggled to elicit even the slightest form of appreciation from passersby.
Many people walked past, some glancing out of curiosity, but no one cared to acknowledge his rhythm.
No One Pays the Man Any Attention
When the stoplight turned green, the man walked disappointingly to the roadside, without a cent to his name.
Rico then caught sight of what seemed to be a form of life at that moment. His pup was waiting nearby to comfort him with all the hugs and kisses that money can't buy!
The Special Moment Was Captured on Camera
She wagged her tail in excitement as the man approached her — and all it took was a warm embrace to melt Rico's heart as he watched from afar. In his words, "...it was a moment of love and loyalty".
Rico was so moved that he went down and invited the man and his dog to his home.

Both men sat down to chat, and Rico soon learned a lot about his new friend. The man's name was Anderson, an aspiring artist still trying to find his footing in life and the industry.
Regardless, he tried his best to provide his pup, Mayte, with the happiness and comfort she deserves. Rico could tell that Anderson was struggling financially, especially with a furry friend to care for.
This prompted him to book an all-expenses-paid appointment with a vet. Best of all, Anderson could bring his other dog, Negrita, along.

To help get the prodigy back on his feet, Rico went a step further by sharing Anderson's story on social media. In addition, he arranged for Anderson to record in a professional studio so that he could finally gain the appreciation his music deserves.
Dropping It Like It's Hot!
Rico has helped Anderson write a beautiful story from "Grass to Grace." That artist who once felt lost, frustrated, and unable to make a buck on the street is now an online sensation.
The future certainly looks bright for Anderson and his furry buddies.
