Volunteers Carried Out a Rescue Operation in a Breeding Farm and Saved 108 Abused Dogs
A rescue mission in the middle of a breeding farm auction turned into a race against time for 108 dogs. What started as a plan to stop the animals from being sold off to puppy millers quickly grew into a massive effort backed by supporters from around the world.
Operation Cavalier Rescue stepped in after learning about the auction, where neglected puppies were about to be dispersed into an already cruel system. Many of the dogs were sick, dirty, and in rough shape, but volunteers pushed ahead anyway, determined to get every last one out.
By the end of it, the team had done the impossible, and the dogs finally had a chance at a better life.
The poor puppies in an overcrowded wire cage.

A cruel breeder attempted to auction these lovely puppies off to puppy millers.

The auction was supposed to be the end of the road for these dogs.
Most of the dogs had infections that resulted in deafness and blindness.

Many of them had feces all over their bodies.

Operation Cavalier Rescue raised funds for the mission to rescue the puppies at the soon-to-be-held auction. They sought help from the community.

In just 11 days, they raised over $200,000.

The response came faster than anyone expected.
The operation will soon be underway.

Cavalier Rescue founder Angie Ingram and her team were overwhelmed by the amount of support coming from all over the world.

Finally, the puppies will be saved.

Their main objective was to not leave a single Cavalier behind, and they were successful.

The 108 dogs included 97 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, 7 Shibas, 2 Cocker Spaniels, a French Bulldog, a Shih Tzu, and a Yorkshire Terrier.

Then came the hard part, getting them cleaned up and checked over.
It’s the same gut-punch as puppies abandoned near a trash can, later saved by a guardian angel.
Tests, baths, and clean-ups were performed on the dogs before they were sent to their forever homes.

Many volunteer veterinarians helped the puppies recuperate.

Most of the pups were ill and dehydrated.

We hope they will arrive at their forever homes soon.

Once the dogs are feeling better, they can begin looking for their forever homes.

This doggo is ready to look for a forever home too!

The sweet puppies are now beginning to see hope.

For the first time in their lives, they finally feel loved.

They are now happy and healthy with their new owners.

Another dog will soon be in a forever home.

After being rescued, cared for, and sent to their new owners, it's safe to say these lovely dogs are forever thankful.

A rescue like this does not happen by accident.
