Conductor Halts Train To Save Puppy Chained To The Tracks
One tiny puppy ended up in a terrifying spot, and a train conductor was the one who noticed first. The dog had been chained dangerously close to the tracks, where every passing train could have turned a bad situation into something much worse.
What happened next was simple, but it mattered: the conductor stopped the train and kept the puppy from getting hurt. Now the focus has shifted to who left the dog there in the first place, and why anyone would do that.

Once the conductor noticed the dog, he immediately stopped the train
Andres Fabricio Argandoña Tapia was in his usual routine that late afternoon, driving the train in the Valparaiso Region of Chile, when he suddenly noticed something moving along the tracks in front of him. Because of the glare of the sunset, he wasn't able to immediately see what was there.
As he got closer, though, he realized it was a small black dog, and he immediately pulled the brakes. When he stepped outside, he confirmed that it was a small dog desperately trying to free itself.

In the video filmed by Tapia, it was obvious that the dog was distressed and desperate to free itself from the chain. Thankfully, the conductor immediately set to work to free the dog, who ran away right after the chains were removed.
It echoes the rescue that freed Diesel, the dog chained in cold for four years.
Now, the authorities are trying to find who was responsible for it
“How can there be people so cruel? Who leaves little dogs tied up on the tracks?” the train driver says in the heartbreaking footage. “You cannot do that. I hope someday the human race changes.”
Now, the authorities are trying to find out who was responsible for this cruel act.
“We condemn and reject this incident against a defenseless animal, and we are thankful for the behavior of the driver who saved its life,” said the mayor of the city, Edgardo Gonzalez.

It's truly cruel what they did to the dog, who couldn't do anything to save itself. From the video, it was obvious the dog was absolutely terrified.
These creatures don't deserve the cruelty that people hand out so freely to them.
We're the ones supposed to care for them, not hurt them. Hopefully, they find the people responsible for this and have them face the consequences of their actions.
