Takis Proestakis didn’t go looking for trouble, but trouble is exactly what he found, tucked away in trash on the island of Crete. The only thing more shocking than the situation was the puppy’s calm, still wearing a blue collar like someone expected him to be picked up later.
Takis, who has made a name for himself by rescuing abandoned dogs, hauled the helpless little guy out and brought him back to his shelter on a mountainside surrounded by olive trees.
