Dog Named Blaze Is A Pure Black Labrador Retriever, But His Appearance Is Different From The Typical Purebred
What if your dog was born with a black fur coat, then halfway through his life suddenly changed to the opposite?

Meet Blaze, a purebred Labrador Retriever dog who was born with a black fur coat. He's ten years old, and lives in Finland.
Essentially, he's a regular ol' dog. Except one thing.
Around a year ago Blaze's coat of dog fur started turning white in patchy areas. In happenstance, he actually has vitiligo.
Santeri, the dog's owner, gushed that his diagnosis hasn't stopped him from enjoying his day to day, normal dog life. The cute dog is still incredibly healthy, and packed full of energy, and would never turn down an offer to go somewhere.
Santeri ended up sharing a photo of Blaze plopped down near a dinner table, and she did so in a popular Facebook group by the name of Dogspotting Society, and Blaze went viral almost instantly. The single image of the peculiar pup has over 32k likes, loves, and wow's together, 2.8k comments, and over 1.2k shares.
Meet Blaze, prior to his diagnosis.

Now, feast your eyes on the photo that went viral.

He looks like the sweetest boy!

“The white color began spreading from a small spot on his ear,” Blaze’s owner, Santeri, admitted to Bored Panda.

Then he continued, “Interestingly, all of his brothers and sisters still remain single-colored."

Santeri thankfully divulged that the only part of his diagnosis that's changed him, is his fur coat going from black, to black and white patches.

He added, “Blaze is a healthy and very energetic guy. He’s always ready to join you wherever you go. He even loves to travel inside a car.”

Santeri has always been his owner since he was a little pup, and loves him unconditionally.

“He is 10 years old now, and has received a few nicknames because of his age, like ‘The Old Man’ and ‘The Funny Old Man'.”

He clearly has many who adore him.

“He likes to make people happy and put a smile on their faces," Santeri gushed.

Blaze may be a friend to all, but he still very much enjoys his solitude with Santeri.

So much so, that he enjoys exploring deserted areas.

“Blaze loves to walk in the woods and swim in the lake.”

"He is always ready to go for a walk outside”

“In winter, he likes to play in the snow," Santeri admitted.

Gah, he's so beautiful!

But, no matter how much outdoors-ing he gets to do...

Through the woods.

Through rushing rivers.

Still, his favorite thing to do hands down, is to wait by the dinner table so that he can devour a tastey treat.

“You cannot resist those brown eyes,” Santeri spoke of his precious pupper.

I whole heartedly agree.

Sweet as pie, this one.

Such a gem of a beauty.

There's no dog marked quite like him. <3
