Wholesome Moment Rescued Raccoon Brings Her New Babies And Introduces Them To Her Hooman (Video)
Roxie is a raccoon who just became a mother to four new babies, and she is so proud of her efforts. Roxie is actually a rescued raccoon, and she couldn't hold herself back from showing them off to her favorite human in the world.
And that is precisely what she did. The visits by Roxie began in April of 2021, when Brittany Seidel purchased a new house.
The people who sold Brittany the house were known for really caring for wildlife in that environment. Seidel said that they informed her that the raccoon would sometimes come to the door, but she didn’t fully believe their stories until about a week after moving in.
“I was cooking dinner and she was literally knocking at the back door,” Seidel said. Seidel wouldn't typically take care of wildlife in the area, but since it was what the raccoons were already accustomed to, it was her obligation to continue the tradition.
At the beginning of May of that same year, Seidel noticed that Roxie appeared to have been nursing. “One morning, at her usual time, she showed up on the back porch with the four babies!” Seidel said.
Seidel also added that Roxie had a baby the previous year who actually visited her house. Seidel had a feeling that there were more babies due to the number of trips the raccoon normally made.
Roxie, the rescued raccoon just became a mom to four new babies

The raccoon began coming numerous times every day for food instead of just in the evenings. Currently, Roxie, who lives in the forest behind Seidel’s home, seems to consider herself family.
“I was cooking dinner and she was literally knocking at the back door.”

“One morning at her usual time, she showed up on the back porch with the four babies!”

Seidel says that Roxie is truly fun to be with, and she “recently got her a little pool for her to swim and play in.” The video below shows Roxie as she carries her infants to meet Seidel.

Seidel admits that being a part of Roxie's life has helped her understand her own path.
“It’s really shown me how much I want to work with animals. I’m currently in the process of getting my license to be able to open a non-profit wildlife rescue.”
Now Roxie, who lives in the woods behind her house, seems to think of Seidel as family

“Not only has she touched my life in such a positive way, but she has also brought the internet a lot of smiles,” Seidel said.
“I’m currently in the process of getting my license to be able to open a non-profit wildlife rescue.”
Now she anticipates seeing Roxie consistently, as she has truly become a part of the family.

It's so wholesome to know that Roxie actually considers it a priority to introduce her babies to her hooman. Watching Roxie and her little ones has truly impacted many lives, as noted by Dr. Ross Greene, a child psychologist, who states, “Children thrive on connection and the presence of nurturing figures.” This sentiment resonates with individuals who eagerly anticipate watching everything unfold online.
