Earth's Most Interesting Cold-Blooded Animals Photographed Over 30 Years
Matthijs Kuijpers is known and regarded greatly for his work of amphibian and reptile photography. He has given 27 years of his life to it.
To document these beautiful creations of nature, he had to travel around the world. He has been able to capture some of the most beautiful and stunning cold-blooded animals, some of which are endangered.
Kuijpers book Cold Instinct is a collection of some of the best photographs out of his extensive work. Over the years he has photographed approx 1500 species globally and the book contains 70 of the best shots.
Kuijpers shares while talking about his work, “What I want to show in my photos is the essence of the animal. I hope to remove misconceptions and fear that many commonly have in regards to coldblooded animals.”
