Woman Adopts Two Senior Dogs After Asking God To Give Her A Sign

When Jeanette's treasured dog passed away, she was beyond devastated. She felt heartbroken and very alone without her best friend.
Jeanette cried every day for her beloved pet. She often prayed, and one day she asked God to give her a sign.
Just as Jeanette asked for a sign from God, she walked into her kitchen, where her TV was on. She saw a story on the news about two elderly dogs who were in desperate need of a loving home.
Jeanette didn't hesitate! She called the shelter where the dogs were staying and drove from New Jersey to New York to meet them.
As soon as Jeanette laid eyes on Ruby and Chicky, she fell in love! She knew that she had to take them home with her.
Jeanette took her sweet new friends home to New Jersey, and the pair settled in wonderfully! Ruby and Chicky have been an incredible source of healing for Jeanette after her heartbreaking loss.
Of course, Ruby and Chicky can never replace Jeanette's beloved dog, but they certainly help to fill the void in her heart.
"They changed our lives because they're joyful, they welcome you, and they love you," Jeanette said. "They are so grateful; it's unbelievable."

Jeanette says Ruby and Chicky have settled into their new home wonderfully. They love to go for walks, although being "New York City dogs," they're not used to walking on grass.
Jeanette says it takes them some time to venture off the concrete paths and sidewalks, but when they do, they love it. They sound like a couple of adorable little characters with plenty of personality!
