Shepherd's Flock Helps Him Send A Special Message To His Late Aunt
When Ben Jackson's aunt sadly passed away recently, COVID restrictions prevented him from attending her funeral. He was unable to travel to Brisbane, which meant he couldn't pay his respects or grieve alongside the rest of his family.
So, the sheep farmer from Guyra, NSW, decided to pay tribute to his beloved aunt in his own unique way. Ben spread sheep feed across his paddock in the shape of a heart and then used a drone to film his flock forming the beautiful tribute.
"With hard borders, quarantine, and restrictions, there was no opportunity for me to sneak up there and say goodbye," Ben said. "You feel helpless; you don't know how to express yourself or what you can do to show your deep affection for a loved one, so I created a big heart."
"It seemed like a pretty good idea to share the love," Ben said.

"I just hope that when I did it, she was having a peek through the clouds and was able to see it."

"I just miss my aunty," the sheep farmer said.
