Rescued Tabby Cat Is Excited To Find Out That He Will Be Adopted By His Cat Bestie’s Family
Wild Bill, a two-year-old orange and white tabby cat, had a talent for making sure no visitor left his room without giving him attention. While he was waiting at the Richmond SPCA, he spent his days climbing into laps, soaking up pets, and retreating to a box that had been turned into his own little hideout.
He also had a sweet side that showed up around other cats, especially Jeri, who needed a little help getting comfortable with new people. The two became close while sharing the same space, and Wild Bill even showed her the ropes in his own mischievous way.
Then came the best part, Wild Bill found out he would be going home with Jeri’s family too. Read on.
Meet Wild Bill, a two-year-old orange and white tabby cat

Tabby cats have unique personalities

When people passed by and arrived at the window of his room, Wild Bill made sure they noticed him. He accomplished this by always using his cuteness to entice people to come inside his room so he could receive much-needed pets and rubs.
Visitors were always taken by Wild Bill's friendly nature

Wild Bill knew he needed to give back love to others who had it rough. So he developed a soft spot, which always showed when other cat friends were around.
Wild Bill always retired to the box

Wild Bill had the delight of sharing his room with Jeri, a cat who had difficulty interacting with new faces. She was not used to the regular cat life. However, Wild Bill made sure to show her how things were done.
Wild Bill’s adoption story is sweet, but it echoes Jerry the cat abandoned for being “too affectionate”.
His caretakers even cut some heart-shaped holes into the sides

Numerous cardboard boxes with window cutouts were spread throughout the room, providing Wild Bill with an area to conduct his tutorial demonstrations for Jeri. He bounced from the top of one of the many boxes onto the ledge where his caretakers had positioned a nice lamp and knocked it off.
Wild Bill always had a chance to bargain for more pets

He did this simply to entice his loving volunteers to come in, which in turn gave Wild Bill a platform to negotiate for more rubs. Not only that, but it also provided Jeri with a chance to be around individuals who always offered thoughtful care.
Wild Bill's soft spot for other feline friends always showed

Wild Bill built a great friendship with Jeri until she was adopted by her new family. He was sad that he would not be able to show her more of the new things he had learned, like how to get extra treats from his caretakers using a cute face.

Wild Bill says hello...

Well, Wild Bill's spirits were lifted when he realized he was being adopted by Jeri’s new family as well. Wild Bill and Jeri are now settled into being roommates forever.
Now, he'll continue to educate her on which boxes are suitable for a cat and how to nudge their new parents for satisfying sessions of rubs and pats.
