Owner Abandons Sick Dog On The Street To Die, But This Girl Proves She Is A Fighter
Nora was left on the street to fend for herself after her owner decided her sickness was too much to deal with. What should have been a desperate ending turned into a fight for survival, and this dog refused to give up.
Her condition got worse fast, from severe mange to malnutrition, while rescue teams tried to reach her and a couple in Iran stepped in with a promise to adopt her if she could be saved. Once Nora was finally caught, the road to recovery was long, but the people around her were determined to give her a second chance.

Nora developed a case of Demodex mange. But instead of taking her to the vet for treatment, her owner abandoned her on the street as if her life had no value.
With no one to care for Nora on the streets, her illness worsened as the days went by.
Due to the scarcity of food, this poor girl was forced to expend all her energy scavenging for the little she could find. Her mange became so severe that it caused secondary skin infections.
Fortunately, Avan North Animals learned about Nora and made an effort to assist her. However, she was incredibly clever and eluded capture numerous times.
Eventually, a couple residing in Iran spotted the pooch and contacted the rescue team. They promised to adopt Nora if the rescue team helped save her life.

After much perseverance, the team managed to wrangle Nora into their care and get her to a vet. By the time she was rescued, her skin had become as hard as a rock.
The vet explained that Nora had the worst case of mange he had ever seen. In addition, she suffered from malnutrition and scabies.
Once the rescuers and medical personnel had Nora safely under their care, it was time to begin treating her mange. They managed her condition with antibiotics and painkillers.
Additionally, they had to administer regular medicinal baths to keep her in good health. The treatment softened her skin, allowing the potato-chip-looking scales to fall off.
Nora's skin was still raw beneath, but that would heal soon, as she was a strong girl.
This is similar to the stray dog left in cold snow, until a Samaritan persuaded the owner to let it inside.

Nora was wrapped in blankets as she slept, keeping her warm throughout the night. She had to wear protective clothing to shield her exposed flesh from the sun while she waited for her fur to grow.
Incredibly, Nora's condition swiftly improved thanks to the right medication and a healthy diet!

Nora's new family welcomed her into their home as soon as she was cleared by the doctor. The transformation of Nora from before to after is nothing short of a miracle.
