Adorable Moments Of Kids With Their Ragdoll Cats Caught By The Camera Of Their Brilliant Photographer Mom
Some of the sweetest family photos happen when nobody is posing on purpose. In Beth Mancuso's home, that magic comes from her three sons and two ragdoll cats, Irie and Lucy.
The photographer turned those everyday moments into a series called "A Boy and His Cats," capturing the close bond between her kids and the pets they adore. The result is a warm look at childhood, family life, and the kind of companionship that shows up in the smallest moments.
Here is the full story.
Mancuso welcomed Lucy, their first cat, to her family first, and sometime later, she was followed by her half-sister Irie.

Her kids are totally, madly, and deeply in love with these cats, and they are practically inseparable.

The photographer shares her experience that led to this series on her website and says, “At some point, I realized I was taking quite a few pictures of my boys and their cats.”

That was the moment the family dynamic became the real subject.
Some of her pictures are directed, but most of them are taken spontaneously, and that too with her iPhone.

As every individual is different from the other, similarly, their experiences and behaviors towards others are different too.

It also reminded me of the mama cat welcoming a mouse into her family.
Mancuso has also observed that each of her boys has a different kind of relationship with their cats.

By far, the most obsessed with these furry animals is her eldest son.

Her eldest son tries his absolute best to somehow smuggle the cats into his bedroom every night.

Mancuso states, “We couldn't have asked for better cats.”

It's the kind of pet story that practically photographs itself.
The Mancuso family finds these cats to be the best companions.

No matter whether the kids are playing or reading books, the cats are always there to keep them company.

Mancuso has no plans to abandon this amazing series of photographs anytime soon.

She hopes to keep working on it indefinitely, forever.

These are the kinds of memories that tend to last.
