This Squirrel Is So Thirsty, He Approached A Man To Ask For Some Water
A thirsty squirrel turned a routine workday in Dallas into a small rescue story with a big heart. When landscaper Jomar Robles noticed the little animal following him in the heat, he realized she was not just curious, she was struggling.
Robles, who was on the job in Texas, gave the squirrel water and quickly saw that she needed more than a drink. The moment turned into an unexpected act of kindness, with the tiny visitor climbing closer instead of running away.
What happened next made the whole encounter even more memorable. Read on.
Robles opened his bottled water and knelt to give the poor little one some water.
The squirrel placed her paws on his hand, taking small sips. The gesture seemed to encourage him to keep going.

This is similar to what happened when Longo saved Biscuits from the scorching sidewalk heat.
After she was done drinking, Robles petted her and tried to give her some more.
But instead of drinking, she climbed up Robles's arm to let him pet her some more.
Robles noticed that the poor little creature needed to get away from the sun, so he took her home. He provided the squirrel with a comfy spot to rest and fed her healthy snacks.
On the day Robles took the squirrel home, she rested a lot.
Robles told his wife that he would set the squirrel free so she could make friends with her own kind. The squirrel looked well the next day.
So he brought her back to the place where he found her, and then she was released.
Robles was sad to let her go, but he knew that the beautiful squirrel needed to be where she belonged.
The little one took a last glance at Robles before climbing a tree, and that was the last time they saw each other. Still, Robles knows she appreciated his simple deed.
