Wesley White is a talented photographer. And recently, he was traveling through Belize for work.

Wesley was looking forward to exploring the stunning island and, of course, taking some epic photos. He was excited to enjoy what was sure to be an incredible trip.

When he arrived, Wesley decided to go on a kayaking adventure to a small island in Thatch Caye. When he got there, he spotted a dog near an abandoned fishing shack.

The dog was friendly, but it was clear to Wesley that the poor animal was starving. "Out of the corner of my eye, I saw his tail wagging," he said.

Wesley was concerned for the dog and tried to call out for help, but there was no one nearby. Wesley knew the dog would be unlikely to last even one more day alone on the island, so he put the pup in the kayak and brought it back to the hotel.

When he arrived back at the hotel, Wesley called for help. Thankfully, some kind people helped the dog, giving him food and water before taking him to the vet for medical attention.
