Young Kitten Cries Out For Help After Getting Its Head Stuck In The Frame Of A Truck
An 8-week-old kitten basically turned a routine day into a full-blown rescue mission, and it all started with one terrifying stuck head situation in the frame of a truck. The truck driver called for help, then the team handled the complicated part by sedating the kitten and using Q-tips to gently dislodge her head.
After she was liberated, she was rushed to their Escondido campus for medications, painkillers, and a much-needed supper. Here’s the part that makes you stop scrolling.
An 8-week-old kitten is now out of harm’s way after getting stuck in the frame of a truck

The truck driver did the right thing by calling the San Diego Humane Society, right as the kitten’s head got stuck in that truck frame.
“After administering sedation to the kitten, they patiently employed Q-tips to dislodge her head and liberate her from the constricted space,” stated the San Diego Humane Society.
The kitten was sedated, and then her head was carefully removed from the tight spot using Q-tips

Things got really delicate once the kitten was sedated, because they had to free her head from the tight spot using Q-tips.
They then took the rescued kitten to their nearby campus, where they administered medications, painkillers, and fed her a much-needed supper. The San Diego Humane Society acknowledged that they were happy the kitten was safe and congratulated the truck driver, as well as their veterinary and Humane Law Enforcement staff, for their amazing efforts in saving her life.
It’s also like Jennifer hearing faint whimpers from a sealed dumpster, then watching the kitten run under a van and hide in the engine.
The kitten was brought to our Escondido campus for further care

The rescue team didn’t just stop at getting her out, they brought her to the Escondido campus for meds, painkillers, and food.
“We are delighted that the kitten is now safe, thanks to the driver for calling us, and we express our gratitude to our dedicated Humane Law Enforcement and veterinary teams for their exceptional efforts in rescuing her,” the San Diego Humane Society wrote on Facebook.
The kitten is safe now and we're happy about that

Once the kitten was safe, the Humane Society praised everyone involved, from Humane Law Enforcement to the veterinary staff who helped bring her back.
While it may be amusing to scroll through photos of animals stuck in strange locations, it's important to keep in mind that your pet may not find the same amusement. There are times when these animals die from suffocation, and most pet owners are unaware of the danger.
Of course, not every location or object poses a risk to animals; a dog perched on top of the kitchen counter or a cat wedged in the crease of the sofa is probably not going to cause any harm, but getting stuck in certain places can be quite dangerous.
That cute stuck-photo moment can turn deadly fast, and this kitten got lucky.
