Chonky Cat With An Abundance Of Sass Who Was Surrendered By Her Elderly Owners Finds The Purrfect Forever Home
Cats have a tendency to place themselves on the highest pedestal possible. They sometimes seem to think they are royalty, perched atop their castle in their own huge space that is all theirs.
In April of 2022, Bitty's elderly owners decided they could no longer provide their cat with the quality of life they believed she deserved. So, they chose to hand the black and white domestic shorthair over to the Winchester SPCA.
The cute kitty was in excellent health when she arrived, and she even displayed her love for treats right at the shelter’s door. During her two-month stay in the local shelter, Bitty made a number of new friends who were also looking for forever homes.
Yes, she gets along with the other cats, but she still prefers people. Bitty is initially shy and cautious, checking things out for herself first whenever potential cat parents enter the interaction area.
Nevertheless, once she gets the hang of things, she springs up and approaches eager petters with her back arched in anticipation of receiving some scratches. Bitty takes pleasure in the approval from what she considers her devoted subjects.
Bitty will flop to the ground in apparent defiance after receiving her fair share of back scratches. This helps you know when she needs some privacy so that she can return to observing her domain and paying attention to the details around her.

Bitty needs a place to live where she can snag the spotlight whenever she wants.

Bitty will want her pet parents to constantly play with her and spoil her with a belly full of cat snacks. Not only that, but she also needs pawrents who will respond to her when she attempts to let them know that she constantly needs back scratching and royal admiration.
While Bitty gets along with the feline bunch, she's much more fond of humans

She also makes sure that her favorite blue toy mouse is nearby so she can use it as a stress reliever if she needs to.

Swatting the toy across the room is one of the ways she relieves her stress. However, when other cats are after it, it occasionally sparks a fight.

Bitty, however, no longer needs to plop on the ground and wait or wish, as she has finally found her forever home. This happened in June, and Bitty is getting ready to reclaim her position as the ruler of her own castle.

Even though these kitties might reside in a temporary home, this does not mean they have lost interest in receiving praise. They still want to feel like they are in charge, and Bitty is no different, as she has taken her place as the queen in her castle.
