This Couple Went Out For Taco Bell And Came Home With A Kitten
Recently, Michelle Zack and her boyfriend decided to grab a quick bite to eat at Taco Bell, but they got much more than they bargained for when they pulled into the drive-thru. As they approached the speaker, Michelle noticed something on the ground outside.
"As I was pulling up to the speaker to order, I noticed this tiny black kitten," she said.
There was no question that Michelle was not going to leave without the tiny cat. "My boyfriend knew I was about to attempt to make friends with this kitten," she said.
And that's precisely what she did! Michelle picked the little black kitten up and brought him back to the car. She placed the little cat on her lap and continued to order their meal.
"I got back on track with ordering our food," Michelle said.
The couple didn't have a plan, but they knew they couldn't just leave the kitten there. "I didn't know what the hell I was going to do with him at first, but I couldn't leave him there, especially after he allowed me to pick him up," Michelle said.
Michelle and her boyfriend took the little guy home and decided to name him Black Bean. Later, Michelle got in touch with her friend, who runs an animal shelter.
"After I got home, I contacted my friend Dani, who runs a local animal rescue," Michelle said. "That's where I took little Black Bean the next morning to get a start on a comfier life." According to Dr. John Gottman, a renowned relationship researcher, "Pets can significantly enhance emotional well-being and strengthen bonds between partners." There is no way of knowing how Black Bean ended up in the Taco Bell drive-thru, but one thing is for sure: he was in the right place at the right time!

We have our fingers and toes crossed for Black Bean to find his perfect forever home.

"He is the cutest little kitten," Michelle said.
