Owner Is Surprised By The Reaction She Got When She Reunited Three Horses Who’ve Been Apart For Four Years
In life, humans tend to have lifelong friendships, but have you ever considered whether animals can have that as well?
The woman in today’s story is about to find out as she prepares to reunite three horses who have known each other since they were foals. However, she could never have predicted what would happen next!
As stated by Shareably, three horses were raised by Sue Blagburn in Mustons Field, England.
"The horses, named Arthur, Harry, and William, grew up together as best friends. Unfortunately, when Sue transitioned her career into equine-facilitated learning and therapy, she was forced to give Arthur up. Arthur spent the next four years as a sports horse for high-class private competitions and events while his friends traveled around England with Sue."
Horses Harry and William actually shared a home in Firle, East Sussex, while Arthur lived far away, enjoying a privileged life. That is, until Sue decided to repurchase her horse.
She anticipated that they would recognize one another when she returned with him. However, she had no idea how they would respond when they finally saw each other again after all the time that had passed.
The reunion was quite heartwarming. After a few loving nudges, they decided it was time to go for a jog.

William, Harry, and Arthur started racing around the field in long laps. You’ll get to see the touching moment as you keep scrolling down below, as it was documented in a video.

Sue said that she knew they would recognize each other, "but this is so much deeper than I thought possible, and... it’s so extraordinary." She was actually stunned that they had maintained such a strong friendship after all these years.
She mentioned that William is quite bossy, as "he wouldn’t let any other horse do what Arthur is doing." It's quite astounding to witness and know that animals have emotions too.

These horses are currently the star team of Adventures with Horses. They are part of an organization that "offers learning and growth through the naturally occurring therapeutic opportunities horses can provide, in order to develop potential, self-awareness, and skills."
These horses serve as the best illustration that, like people, animals can form lifelong friendships.

A herd of horses should ideally be brought together naturally rather than by human selection. They should live in a habitat with enough natural cover and outdoor space to support their movement, activity, and nutritional needs.
Sadly, there are now numerous situations where this scenario is not feasible. But we’re still happy for these horses that found each other again.
