This Tiny Dog Has Such A Big Heart- She Is Overjoyed Because She Got To Visit Her Best Friend In The Hospital
Maria Eduarda was already having a hard time, and then cancer took her away from the one thing that made home feel normal, her tiny dog, Amora. After weeks in the hospital, the reunion that followed turned into the kind of moment that can make even a tough day feel lighter.
Eduarda had been separated from Amora for more than a month, and her mother knew exactly how much that hurt. So with help from her daughter's doctor, she arranged a surprise visit that brought the little dog right to her hospital room.
Amora's reaction said everything, and the visit became a bright spot in the middle of a very difficult fight. Read on.
This is Amora

It was truly a moving experience. Eduarda, on the other hand, was ecstatic about how that visit made her feel.
Having her with me reminded me of home and allowed me to go on with the hope that everything would be OK and that everything would be back to normal soon.
Thankfully, a return to routine was not far away.
Watch the video of Amora visiting her owner in the hospital:
Today, I’m still undergoing cancer treatment, but I'm at home with Amora. She knows me and takes care of me. She knows when I’m down, when I’m sick, and when I’m sad. We are inseparable. I go through all the treatment process with her, and she gives me strength.
Maria Eduarda is diagnosed with cancer

Eduarda is still on the mend, but with Amora by her side, she won't be alone on her journey.
I am her human, and I love her.
And just like the man who rescued a dog one hour before her scheduled euthanasia, one rescue changed everything.
But she is fighting it

Anyone who owns a pet can testify to the comfort and unconditional affection that their pet brings, particularly during times of stress or crisis. When pets detect sadness or pain in their owners, they will automatically lay beside them, lick their hand, or stay close to them to make them feel better.
Cancer is typically described as a lonely experience, and having a pet can bring much-needed company to those who are isolated after their diagnosis. Even caressing an animal can improve a person's mood and alleviate despair, anxiety, and loneliness.
With Amora's help

Apart from giving emotional support, scientific studies have shown that having a pet around can help regulate heart rate, lower blood pressure, and speed up healing times. Additionally, having a pet may assist cancer patients in remaining physically active.
For example, a pet owner may be more inspired to go outside and exercise their dog, resulting in more frequent physical activity. Pets are wonderful in every possible way.
