Pup Gets Dressed In His Tuxedo To Meet New Family Only For Them To Cancel
A dog named Vicente had his big moment all picked out, tuxedo and all. The pup was scheduled to be adopted through Fundación Rescátame, and he was dressed up like he was about to meet his new family in style.
But right after Vicente got cleaned up and prepared for the home, the adoption plan fell apart. The new family even posted fresh photos announcing him, and then they canceled anyway, turning what should have been a sweet “forever home” story into a messy twist that had people side-eyeing the whole situation.
Still, Vicente did not stay heartbroken for long, and the happy ending came fast.
A non-profit organization called Fundación Rescátame was where this cute dog was scheduled to be adopted

The moment Vicente’s tuxedo arrived and Fundación Rescátame started getting adoption requests, the whole thing went from cute to controversial in a hurry.
You can't easily get rid of an animal when you decide you no longer want it; keeping a dog requires a long-term commitment. However, keep in mind that this story has a happy ending before you shed too many tears for the adorable dog.
The tweet received over 3,000 social media shares, which raised a lot of controversy. Very shortly, the rescue received multiple requests to adopt Vicente.
A few days later, he was adopted by a forever family who appeared to genuinely love and value their new pet.

Then the new family cleaned him up, took brand-new “we’re adopting him” images, and still called it off right before he moved in.
And if you think Vicente’s “adoption canceled” drama is bad, check the shelter’s “accidentally” euthanizing its third victim.
That cancellation left Vicente back at Fundación Rescátame, but it also kept the rescue’s other 40 dogs waiting in the wings.
The adorable little dog's adoption was even officially announced by the new family with the release of brand-new images of him. Vicente has a loving, long-term home, but the group still has 40 other dogs available for adoption.
This year, the rescue's efforts have helped roughly 200 animals find new homes. On their Facebook page, they identify themselves as a "non-profit organization that supports the fight against animal cruelty, as well as the rescue, protection, and care of abandoned animals."

Luckily, once the tweet blew up and Vicente finally landed with a forever family who genuinely valued him, the story snapped back into happy-ending mode.
In addition, they stated that their goal is to help all animals, regardless of breed, age, or gender.
We're so happy this dog has finally found a forever home, and you can share this story with your loved ones if you loved the happy ending too.
Vicente’s tuxedo deserved better, but at least he ended up where he was actually wanted.
