Underweight Dog Collapses In The Middle Of The Road, Gets Rescued, And Is Now Living Her Best Life
A dog named Hope collapsed in the middle of a busy roadway, too exhausted to even cross the street. One minute she was just another barely-there shadow in traffic, the next minute she was fighting for her life.
What made it even harder was what they found out later. Hope had no microchip, she was estimated to be around seven years old, and her body was so underweight they had to give her food right away. She had been through several litters, then abandoned by cruel owners who decided she was “useless,” leaving behind a trail of heartbreak and a complicated search for who could help her.
Luckily, the story did not end in the road, it ended with a neighbor named Rachel stepping in and making Hope’s comeback possible.

Hope's veterinarians at the hospital assessed that she had a chance of survival and provided some information about her traumatic history. She had gone through several litters until her owners cruelly abandoned her after deciding she was useless, leading them to believe that she had probably been used as a breeding dog.
Sadly, Hope had no microchip, and it was estimated that she was roughly seven years old.

Right after Hope’s collapse, the Facebook page “Hope for Hope” kicked off updates so everyone could track her fragile progress.

A Facebook page called "Hope for Hope" was created to regularly update followers on the dog's progress in order to reassure concerned parties. Hope underwent a number of examinations and procedures at the emergency hospital, where her condition began to show signs of improvement and her vital signs remained stable.

Hope continued to display signs of perseverance despite her fragility, and the hospital expressed amazement at her astonishing growth in a report issued on June 4. She gradually regained her strength while being surrounded by love and attentive care.
Hope's recovery made tremendous strides in the days that followed, and both her health and disposition steadily improved.
The Facebook group joyfully announced the most encouraging news

Then came the June 4 update, where Hope’s astonishing growth and stable condition made the group gasp with relief.

The Facebook group was anxiously awaiting the most recent update, and yesterday they joyfully announced the most encouraging news. Apparently, Hope had made a remarkable recovery, reaching a state of well-being that allowed her to say goodbye to the hospital and begin her journey to a new home.
In a touching turn of events, Rachel, the kind neighbor who first stepped forward to save Hope, decided to adopt her.
