Woman Rescues And Rehabilitates A Cat That Was Hit By A Car
Animals that live in our surroundings are dependent on us, even when they live on the street. The following story is the best proof of this.
We have another heartfelt rescue story here. Little Girl, or LD for short, is the star of the show. Little Girl was originally a nickname for the cat, but her wonderful human decided to keep it over time.
Let's take a moment to talk about her fantastic human. We adore honoring compassionate and lovely people who aid cats all around the world, as you know.
Cat lovers everywhere value and appreciate every small contribution you can make to help cats in need. So today, we're focusing on the plight of poor baby LD, as well as her incredibly compassionate and patient human, Crissy.
Crissy has been documenting Little Girl's rehabilitation since she was rescued, capturing everything from doctor's appointments to first meals, meeting the family dog, and more.
We've prepared a list of just a handful of the videos she shared, but we recommend that you visit her profile to see the rest. Her patience and passion for ensuring LD's safety in her new home are the most remarkable things we've ever seen.
Take a look at this inspiring story:
1. It all began when a small cat was discovered.
Fractures of the feline pelvis occur as a result of major trauma, usually from a road traffic accident. It is a serious injury that requires veterinary care, but when managed appropriately, the prognosis for pelvic fractures is generally good.
2. Day 12: She's Taken Their Hearts Officially
I mean, how could she not?
In the United States, it is estimated that 625,000 adoptable dogs and cats were euthanized in 2019. There are simply too many animals entering shelters and too few individuals considering adopting a pet while shopping for one.
However, this heinous figure could be drastically reduced. It only takes two things: more responsible pet owners to prevent animals from ending up in shelters in the first place, and more people adopting rather than purchasing pets.
When you adopt an animal, you not only gain a lifelong companion, but you also free up shelter space for another animal in severe need.
However, cats with illnesses and physical flaws are adopted less frequently. This is because people often think they cannot help or do not have the time.
But this story proves that anything is possible if you put your mind and heart into it.

4. Day 45 - Getting Ready For The Vet
5. Day 80: LG’s own fan club
There is still hope for humankind yet. We do cause havoc in nature and think we are all mighty (thus allowed to do whatever we want), but there are kind people among us.
And they try to create a balance. For every wrongdoing, they will do a good deed.
Let’s help them not lose that battle. Let’s be more careful when driving.
That way, there will be fewer injured animals on the streets.
