Woman Saves A Cat From Drowning And Now He Thanks Her With The Precious Gift Of Daily Hugs And Kisses
Some rescues start with a split-second decision, and this one changed two lives at once. Irene was walking through a park when she saw a man heading toward the river with a newborn kitten in his hands.
She stepped in just in time, and the tiny cat, later named Zephyr, survived the ordeal and found a home with her. What followed was a year of cuddles, kisses, and a bond that never seems to slow down.
Now Zephyr thanks the woman who saved him in the sweetest way possible, and his story only gets more heartwarming from there.
Irene saved Zephyr from a man trying to throw him into a river.

Zephyr was adopted by Irene when he was a young kitten, and she introduced him to her older cat at home. The two cats are still inseparable a year later.
The old cat treats the kitten like his own son,” Irene said. “They both are so adorable, hugging and licking each other.”
The former stray has been given a second chance at life, and he is making the most of it.
Zephyr constantly needs attention, loves when I chase him, or when he chases the [senior] cat,” Irene said. “His favorite game is when I throw a toy mouse and he brings it back to me. He can run for the mouse all evening and not get tired.”
This is the same kind of healing as a first-time cat dad whose adoption mended his rescuer’s broken spirit.
And he's been thanking her since. With hugs and kisses.

Their bond is strong
“He changed my life,” Irene says. “He's my personal little sunshine with his endless energy. It's like having a little child… it teaches you a lot.”

He and his mom are very happy, and it shows:
He changed my life,” Irene said. “He's my personal little sunshine with his endless energy. It's like having a little child… it teaches you a lot.”
Regardless of the circumstances, this unique bond was destined to be. We are so happy we have people like this around. If only they had less hero work to do...
But that requires us, humans, to improve and try to be better people. Unfortunately, some people simply don't want to change.
When Irene saved Zephyr, she also helped herself. He is a friend, support, a confidant, and will always be by her side.
Some bonds are built in a single moment and last a lifetime.
