Rescue Worker Helps Worm-Infested Pup Deserted By Her Owners To Die, Giving Her A New Lease On Life
Dogs should be treated with love and kindness; they aren't just lower life forms scurrying around us looking for things to eat. They are living, breathing creatures who have emotions like we do, think just as we do, and are similar to us in many more ways than we even know about.
Dogs and other pets have repeatedly demonstrated to mankind that they are companions to humans and deserve to be treated well because they unconditionally love us. This is not difficult to grasp.
Someone with a black heart adopted this sweet puppy, and when she became ill, she was abandoned on the roadside to die! We can't imagine who could do something so heinous to such a helpless soul.
Luckily, a truck driver saw the dog and contacted a local rescuer, who rushed over almost immediately. The rescue worker could tell from the dog's sad little face that she needed support and didn't even have the strength to move.
What worried the rescuers most was how distended her stomach was. Because this is a poor part of the world with no X-ray devices or sophisticated laboratory tests, the rescuer is trained to evaluate the situation and treat accordingly.
He presumed she had worms in her stomach based on his knowledge of dogs. This was common in the area because most people couldn't afford to deworm their puppies.

The puppy was severely malnourished and anemic as a result of the worms. The rescuer administered dewormer, hematinics, pain relievers, and antibiotics to her.

The puppy could very well eat and build up strength as soon as she feels better. But for the time being, she needed a lot of sleep, and the soft blanket she was given worked wonders.

The rescuer's intuition was correct, as the puppy's health improved dramatically in just a few days! She was desperate for food, so the patient rescuer suggested starting her on broth, which would be gentle on her stomach!

Her tail wagged as she guzzled from the large bowl of broth, and she was soon motivated to stand and eat. She even got to play after she had some food in her stomach, and before long, she was totally healthy and strong.

Finally, the rescuer found her a happy home. The dog, who was once on the brink of dying, is now living her best quality of life.

It is perfectly fine if one isn’t a dog lover and doesn’t want to adopt a dog or any other pet. However, it’s utterly irresponsible to adopt one of these adorable creatures and then abandon them to die out there in the cold when they are sick.
