Adorable Video Shows Shelter Pitbull Who Was Unable To Stop Hugging Her New Dad After Being Adopted
The adoption of animals from shelters is always a touching and happy moment. Additionally, Maggie's response to meeting her new dad had people all over the world feeling teary yet joyful.
The beautiful pit bull is so overjoyed that she can't stop hugging and kissing the man who chose to offer her a permanent home! Maggie's life was nothing but difficult, but when she met Mark, her new owner, everything changed.
Mischka, a rescue dog owned by Mark and Mary McCraw, passed away suddenly a few months ago. They were going through a really trying time and never imagined they could love a dog as much as they did Mischka, but then Maggie arrived!
Mark admitted to The Dodo that the dog melted his heart.
"We had lost our other dog several months ago prior to meeting Maggie, and this was just a meet and greet in my mind. I didn’t think I was ready for a new dog at the time, but here we are."
According to Dr. Helen Fisher, a biological anthropologist, "The bond between humans and dogs can be incredibly profound, often providing emotional support and companionship that is hard to replicate." This highlights the significance of such adoptions. Maggie was placed in a loving environment after being rescued, and her joyful reunion with Mark is a testament to the healing power of pets.

Maggie, who is happier than ever, hurries over to him, leaps into his arms, and lavishly hugs and kisses him, as if they had just been reunited.
"I didn’t think I was ready for a new dog at the time, but here we are"
The foster wrote, saying:
"It’s like they had known each other for years. This is why we foster. This is the moment a neglected dog becomes part of a family."
Maggie wasn't the only one who was overly eager for this meeting; Mark was also overjoyed to meet another canine that instantly won his heart!
Maggie runs towards him, jumps into his arms, and showers him with cuddles and kisses
The man told THE DODO that he bent down so she wouldn't be intimidated, and within seconds she was on his lap and in his life. "It was love at first sight; it was an instant connection. We feel like she was meant to be with us," he added.
“This is why we foster. This is the moment a neglected dog becomes part of a family.”
Andra Mack, the person who fostered Maggie before she was adopted, said that she was one of the sweetest dogs they have ever fostered.
"The moment that Maggie met her new dad, my husband and I just looked at each other — because we knew. It was like a movie."

Explaining how such a loving dog could be abandoned, end up in a shelter, or even worse (there are so many scenarios), end up on the street, is incredibly difficult, if not impossible. In any case, it is wonderful to see a story like this have such a happy ending!
