Adorable Video Shows Shelter Pitbull Who Was Unable To Stop Hugging Her New Dad After Being Adopted
Maggie’s adoption story is the kind that makes dog lovers stop scrolling. The shelter pit bull could barely contain herself when she met her new dad, and the video of her showering him with hugs and kisses quickly won hearts online.
After losing their rescue dog Mischka a few months earlier, Mark and Mary McCraw were still grieving when Maggie came into their lives.

Maggie, who is happier than ever, hurries over to him, leaps into his arms, and lavishly hugs and kisses him, as if they had just been reunited.
"I didn’t think I was ready for a new dog at the time, but here we are"
The foster wrote:
"It’s like they had known each other for years. This is why we foster. This is the moment a neglected dog becomes part of a family."
Maggie wasn't the only one who was overly eager for this meeting; Mark was also overjoyed to meet another canine that instantly won his heart!
This is one of those meet-and-greet moments that turns into something bigger right away.
And if you love reunion emotions, the man who reunited with his beloved dog after it ran away is another gut-wrencher.
Maggie runs towards him, jumps into his arms, and showers him with cuddles and kisses
The man told THE DODO that he bent down so she wouldn't be intimidated, and within seconds she was on his lap and in his life. "It was love at first sight; it was an instant connection. We feel like she was meant to be with us," he added.
“This is why we foster. This is the moment a neglected dog becomes part of a family.”
Andra Mack, the person who fostered Maggie before she was adopted, said that she was one of the sweetest dogs they have ever fostered.
"The moment that Maggie met her new dad, my husband and I just looked at each other - because we knew. It was like a movie."

Explaining how such a loving dog could be abandoned, end up in a shelter, or even worse (there are so many scenarios), end up on the street, is incredibly difficult, if not impossible. In any case, it is wonderful to see a story like this have such a happy ending!
