At times, they are found hanging out with other bears, while at other times, they prefer to be alone. They also love to snooze.
According to records, there are eight known species of bears, including giant pandas, polar bears, black bears, and brown bears.
A bear's lifespan can reach up to 50 years in captivity and 25 years in the wild. Their average weight can range from 60 to 1,000 lbs.
Bears are omnivores, which means they can technically eat anything they desire. Sometimes, they indulge in human food and garbage.
Their diet consists of berries, roots, grasses, and insects, as well as mammals and fish.
Bears have a strong family bond and are willing to face all risks to protect their family members, especially their siblings or cubs.
