Rescuer Helps Reunite A Baby Koala, Who Fell Off A Tree, And His Mum
One tiny koala’s tumble from a tree turned into a rescue mission with a very sweet ending. Last month, volunteers from Australia’s Koala Rescue were called to help Norris, a baby koala who had fallen and ended up separated from his mother.
Thankfully, Norris was not injured, but getting him back to safety was not as simple as lifting him up and walking away. His mother stayed nearby, watching from above, while the rescue team tried to figure out the best way to reunite them.
That’s when the plan changed, and the climb became the only option. Read on.
The rescuers waited for their tree climber.
It was then that one volunteer stepped up to do something magical. She held baby Norris up where his mum could see him.
The mother grunted and growled, and then the infant called his mother down.

The mother and son were finally reunited.
The Koala Rescue team has been reuniting mums and babies for years. They were amazed that this rescue was caught on video.
This is the same heart-melting kind of reunion as a mom kangaroo tenderly hugging her baby.
Wait until you see a baby elephant tumbling into a manhole, and its frantic mother.
