Helpful Cat Lets Grandpa-To-Be Use Him To Teach His Son How To Bathe A Newborn Baby

It's commonly said that cats hate water and that they especially dislike the human idea of a bath. After all, cats are equipped with their own bathing tools: their nifty tongues.

Thankfully, the fact that most cats may not fancy water was not an issue for one family. Instead, their water-tolerant cat became the purr-fect stand-in for a lesson in bathing.

Our parents are responsible for teaching us all the most critical lessons in life. From how to walk to how to tie your shoes to how to drive a car, chances are your parents taught you all those things.

And the lessons don't end when you become an adult. In fact, when the time comes for you to become a parent yourself, it's your parents who are there to teach you the most valuable lessons on being a mother or father.

Take Vietnamese grandfather-to-be Vinh Quang Pham, for example. Vinh went viral recently when his son shared a video on Facebook of his father using a cat to teach him how to bathe a newborn baby.

The video shows Vinh pretending to bathe the cat to demonstrate to his son the process of bathing an infant. Vinh explains the whole thing step by step, and the cat is surprisingly relaxed the entire time.

"Hold the neck, then put your hands on the butt cheeks; that will give you a better grip. Hold his butt and put him down in the basin," Vinh explains in Vietnamese.

The grandfather-in-waiting then places the cat on his lap and demonstrates how to wash a baby's head. He gently massages the cat's head while splashing some pretend water on it.

The adorable video currently has more than 47,000 likes and over 11,000 comments. People from all around the world have fallen in love with this sweet teaching moment.
