Woman Was Surprised To Find A Cat In Her Hotel Room, And Shared It Online
Carolyn O'Donnell expected a quiet end to a business trip, but her hotel room had a surprise waiting for her. Instead of unpacking and settling in, she opened the door and found a friendly cat ready to greet her.
O'Donnell was amused more than anything, and the unexpected visitor quickly turned a routine stay into something memorable. After a call to the front desk and a viral TikTok post, the mystery cat ended up drawing attention from the hotel staff and plenty of strangers online.
What started as a simple hotel check-in turned into a search for the cat's next home.
O'Donnell played with the cat for a bit, and then she called the front desk to see if she could solve the mystery of her furry guest. The person at the reception got confused and told O'Donnell that she should either get the cat out of the room or pay a pet fee.
Seeing that solving the mystery might take a while, O'Donnell took the cat outside to use the bathroom and brought her back in to spend the night in a warm and cozy room.
She told her friends about the unexpected guest, and they persuaded her to post it on TikTok. In no time, the post went viral, and the cat became famous.

The following day, O'Donnell called the front desk again, but this time, she was able to explain the situation and get some answers.
“A very sweet lady answered, and she confirmed that no one owned the cat, and she had been hanging around the property for some time. The cat would actually walk her to her car after every shift,” O'Donnell says.
“I told her about the video gaining traction, and almost the whole hotel staff started helping! They were so sweet. That’s when I started looking for a home for her!”
This is similar to the allergic ex-roommate yelling at a Redditor for adopting a cat after moving out.

The cute cat became a hot item. People who saw the TikTok started offering to adopt her, and even O'Donnell considered taking the kitty home herself. However, the co-worker she was ridesharing with was allergic to cats, and having a cat in the car could endanger his health.
Fortunately, with the hotel staff’s help, they were able to find a home for the cat. O'Donnell was pleased that the simple business trip turned out to be an adventure with a happy ending.
