Crooked-Faced Pit-Bull With The Kindest Heart Gets Adopted By A Family That Loves Him The Way He Is
Recovering from an injury is not easy, especially with the cuts, bruises, or scars left behind. This is exactly the situation in which a dog named Woody found himself.
Woody can walk normally, but a grizzly fight with another dog left a scar on his face. This injury occurred when he was still a puppy.
Because the bones in puppies' skulls aren't fully fused and formed, his skull healed but became somewhat disfigured. As a result, he has a crooked, lopsided face.
Woody can breathe, pant, eat, and drink normally. He may appear amusing, but his crooked face is actually quite endearing.
According to his caregivers, Woody has demonstrated an amazingly sweet and loving nature. He has a playful personality, and not even his deformed face could dampen his spirits.
As endearing as his face is, there were a few people who didn't see it that way. Woody was abandoned by his original owners in Tennessee after they moved out, leaving him alone and chained up.
It's difficult to say whether his crooked face contributed to his abandonment. He must have been fed scraps and leftover food by the people who lived there, as he wasn't skinny or hungry when he was discovered.
And who was it that tracked him down? Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation!
