Sweet Little Dog Has Been Waiting At The Shelter Since 2017 To Get Adopted But Has Not Succeeded So Far
RSPCA's Bath Cats and Dogs Home rescued a little puppy named Sue on August 22, 2017. Everyone at the shelter had hopes that, since Sue is such a cute little puppy, it would not take long for her to be adopted by a loving family.
It turned out they were wrong. Fate had something different in store for Sue.
Sue did not get adopted for four years.
Since Sue was just a puppy when she was rescued, she has spent all her life in the shelter.
She was once adopted back in 2018, but the family could not keep her for long due to personal issues. Everyone at the shelter felt sorry for her, as she was a very sweet dog who deserved a wonderful home.
“We’re at a loss as to why poor Sue hasn’t been rehomed,” the chief executive of Bath Cats and Dogs Home, Rachel Jones, said in a press release. “We all absolutely adore her and love taking her out for long walks and giving her lots of attention, but we’re desperate to find her a home of her own.”

941 other residents at the shelter have been adopted who came after Sue.
The employees of the shelter still keep their hopes high and believe that there will come a day when a loving family will come and adopt her. Despite her few behavioral issues, Sue has shown remarkable progress in her training at the shelter.

Bailey’s midnight dash back to the animal shelter door after getting scared at home is similar to Sue’s long wait.
“Sue is a sweet and clever pup who can get a little overexcited at times, so she would benefit from owners who can continue her training,” Jones stated.
She added further, “She is very affectionate and loves to curl up on the sofa with you, as well as get involved in a good game with her toys! She loves to meet new pals but would be best as the only pet in the home, and we think she’d suit an adult-only home.”
“She’s a clever pup who has already mastered basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘paw,’ but she would certainly be able to pick up more. She is happy entertaining herself but would like a new owner who is initially around most of the time.”
“She can get overwhelmed at times in the home, so she will need a quiet space to relax. We’d also like her to have a secure garden.”
