Dog Honors People She Loves With Her Bed, Which Is Her Prized Possession
Meet this cute little dog named Dora. She has suffered from anxiety for a long time, so her family tries to come up with ways to make her feel less anxious and to calm her down.
“She’s very needy and absolutely loves being cuddled and stroked, but she’s also very anxious. Since we got her, she has been scared of loud noises, thunder, leaves, and all sorts of things,” Dora’s mom, Ruby Simpson, shared with The Dodo.

Her bed is one special thing that has always helped with her anxiety. It is specifically designed for dogs with anxiety and helps to calm them. Therefore, this bed means a great deal to Dora, and she keeps it close wherever she goes.

“Since she was a puppy, she has always needed to hold something in her mouth when she’s overexcited or anxious,” Simpson explained. “Mostly it’s a teddy bear, but when she can’t contain her excitement, she gets the bed and brings it to the person she’s excited to see, sort of as a gift, but she has to hold it.”

Although Dora may feel excited to see a wide array of people, you have to be extra special to her for her special bed to be presented to you.
“Every time someone walks through the door, she will run to grab her teddy or bed, depending on how special they are,” Simpson remarked.
