Story Of Dog With Diarrhea Causing Plane Havoc Provokes Discussion About Allowing Animals Into Main Cabin
It's not easy to transport an animal via air. I know of a great number of people who have chosen to drive very long distances with their pets in order to prevent the discomfort and even death of the animals, as well as the expensive flight fee.
Many individuals believe that animals are too valuable to take any chances with. The people who do bring their pets have to shell out astronomical vet bills and give their cats and dogs Gabapentin.
They then sit in their seats and cross their fingers, hoping that the animal doesn't make too much noise or go to the potty out of fear or necessity. The majority of the time, the animals I've seen on airplanes behave better than the crying infants.
But there are times when things can go a little haywire. At the very least, that's what we deduced from this @micsolana story on Twitter.
Apparently, the bulldog next to their boyfriend's seat on a flight to Miami began having diarrhea, and sadly, the story doesn’t end there. After the diarrhea eruption, the dog apparently escaped from its owner's grasp and fled around the cabin in terror.
It’s awful that the puppy was so frightened, but it’s equally sad that the stink and anxiety were forced upon the people on the plane.

People appear to be divided. In the end, we would choose to relax with some dogs over crying infants, but to each their own.
