These Dogs Take Their Regular Walks Together, And It’s the Most Wonderful Pack You’ve Ever Seen
Even though taking a dog for a walk can be a bit challenging sometimes, it’s always fun. Now, can you imagine how fun it would be to take a dozen dogs for a walk, all at the same time?
According to the staff at Saratoga Dog Walkers, it’s a unique experience. Since 2011, they have organized “pack walks,” during which they take large groups of dogs for walks.
After each walk, Tim Pink, the company’s owner, takes a group photo of all these good boys and girls. We have collected some of the best photos—take a look. Caution: seeing so many wonderful animals together can just melt your heart.
These pack walks occur during weekdays when the dogs' owners work and can't take them out. Another very beneficial aspect is that the dogs socialize with a large group of other dogs, allowing their natural instincts to kick in.
“The program works with the dogs' natural instincts to travel in a pack,” Pink explains, “but sadly, this primal ritual of dogs is something that most of our dogs never have the opportunity to experience.” These walks last 30 to 45 minutes, providing both mental and physical exercise, which leaves the dogs happy and calm.
