Dog Who Misses His Deceased Best Friend, Travels By Himself Every Day To Visit His Grave
Fulmine, a small dog in Italy, still makes the same trip every day, even though the friend he is looking for is gone. For seven years, he lived side by side with Leonardo, a man who was more than an owner, he was family.
When Leonardo became ill and later died, Fulmine stayed with his relatives, but he never stopped waiting for him. Every time a car pulled up, he rushed to the gate, hoping it was Leonardo coming home.
Now, the little dog has found another routine, and it is heartbreaking in its own way.
Leonardo was laid to his final resting place, but that did not stop the dog from seeking his friend.
And one day, Fulmine finally found him.

Sechi, together with her son, came to the cemetery to place more flowers at the grave. To their surprise, there was another visitor.
And it was none other than Fulmine.

It’s the same kind of goodbye as the dog who went to a hospital to bid farewell to his beloved owner.
This means that Fulmine traveled approximately two miles, all alone, to visit his best friend. It's incredible how he was able to determine where Leonardo's grave is.

Sechi never expected to find Fulmine there. The little dog wasn't present at the funeral, and she has no idea how he reached the grave.
And yet, Fulmine found Leonardo. Finally, the two are reunited in spirit.

This, of course, wasn't the last time Fulmine would go to Leonardo's grave. Neighbors have seen a certain little dog going back and forth to the cemetery to see his beloved friend.
Fulmine does this every single day, Sechi thinks. But how this little dog found his best friend on his own remains a mystery.
I like to think he's guided by his love for my father, or that my father led him there.
Sechi contemplates that it's one of those things that cannot be explained.
Fulmine is still in sorrow. But this time, he doesn't have to face that sadness alone.

Fulmine now lives with Sechi. Although they are still mourning, a day will come when they can move on and happily make brand new memories.
Leonardo will live forever in their hearts as his legacy continues.
Sechi is still emotional as she thinks about how much Fulmine and her father loved each other.
It’s sad to see him grieving, but we will slowly overcome this sad moment together.
