Driver Saves A Kitten Swimming Along A Flooded Street
One rainy morning in Recife, a drive to the supermarket turned into a rescue that Bettina Angela would never forget. Flooded streets had already swallowed parts of the neighborhood, and the water was high enough to make even a short trip feel risky.
As she made her way through Avenida, Bettina spotted something small fighting against the current, a tiny kitten paddling through the floodwater. She did not hesitate, and that split-second decision changed the kitten's life.
She brought the little cat home, named her Rain, and watched her settle in fast. Here is how that flooded street rescue unfolded.
This is Rain, the blue-eyed little kitty.
Bettina wasn't wrong at all when she rescued this sweet little kitten along the flooded Avenida; she gets along well with the family's other pets. Bettina owns Witte, a two-year-old tomcat, and two chocolate Labradors.
Rain is now around four months old and is full of energy and joy. This fur baby has brought much happiness to her newfound home.

"Do you want to play hide and seek with me?"
It also reminds us of the stray dog that crawled into an open car door.
Rain's story is truly heartwarming. Imagine one kitty completing the whole family and giving them free hugs and kisses; this all started one rainy morning after she was rescued by her fur mom, Bettina.
It seems that rainy days are no longer cold with so much fur in them. If you love this story, please share it with your friends and family.
That rescue happened fast, but the bond stuck even faster.
