Saint is a pit bull who was seen residing in a homeless camp and was nearing the brink of death. His thin body was being ravaged by various parasites, and he had already become worn out from enduring unpleasant pain every day.
He gravely wanted his suffering to come to an end, which caused him to evade everything that was important to keep him alive. Luckily for this pit bull, a woman named Heather discovered Saint’s misery, and it truly shattered her heart.
Overwhelmed with feelings of pity for the innocent dog, she chose to take him home as a hospice canine. The goal was to do everything possible to make him feel loved, cherished, and comfortable during his last days on earth.
However, Heather was befuddled when the pit bull refused to eat any food given to him. He had turned into a total shut-off due to his prolonged distress, and all he wanted to do was give up.
He couldn't have cared less about being petted or cooperating with those who took care of him, as he had lost every will to live. Yet, even when he was unable to stand on his own, Heather did her absolute best to let him know that he mattered.
