Local Karen Flips Over Woman's Emotional Support Pig While She Was Taking It On A Walk
Our animal friends are always there for us when we need emotional support, making them a truly essential part of our lives. That unconditional love can rarely be found elsewhere, which proves the crucial role they play.
Animals used as support animals are commonly either dogs or cats, but it also depends on the person since people have their preferences. Pigs are rarely used for that purpose since they're often labeled as livestock. However, in recent years, many people have started choosing them as their emotional support animals, and they should have every right to do so.
Sadly, some people refuse to mind their own business and insist on bothering others about things that shouldn't concern them.
The woman who was dubbed a "Karen" shows up later in the video, out of the blue, while two others were walking a pig on a leash through what she calls "her neighborhood." She initially asked them why someone would be walking a pig in a park, then she is seen yelling and threatening the women.
The pig owners informed Karen that the local homeowners association is already aware of Chorizo (the pig's actual name) after she threatened to call them. She then claimed that she is aware of everything happening in the area and that she has never encountered the women or their pig.
Karen exclaimed in frustration, "This is a community that has bylaws, and if you have a dog, you put it on a leash," while ignoring the fact that the pig was on a leash. She then proceeded to yell about how huge it is. The pig was completely peaceful, calmly nibbling on the grass while entirely ignoring the angry Karen.
Karen was in complete awe after witnessing the pig produce a healthy-sized loaf as she continued following the ladies.
The pig owners began collecting the feces from the grass using empty bags they had. Meanwhile, Karen was in complete awe of the quantity. One of the owners then mentioned that dogs, as well as many other living creatures, also defecate all the time.
The two women advised the annoyed lady, after she insisted on continuing her yelling, to get in touch with a lawyer if this "issue" bothers her to this extent. The lady ignored what they said and insisted on threatening to call the HOA despite them already knowing about the pig.
The video was originally posted on r/PublicFreakout, a subreddit dedicated to freakouts, meltdowns, or any weird behavior in public. With 3.2 million members, the community is full of videos of that sort.
The Reddit community had various reactions, ranging from pointing out Karen's constant contradictions to adoring the pig and supporting it and its owner.
Karen was eventually warned by the owners that if she didn't choose to comply and leave them alone, they would notify the authorities. Despite the warning, Karen refused to understand that many animals can be used to provide emotional support.
She then continued stalking the trio before deciding to walk away, saying that she would "follow up on this."
