Dog Gets Unexpected Treat From A FedEx Driver, And He Loves It
Gina Malcouronne thought she was getting a quiet break with coffee and her dog, Georgie, in a Starbucks parking lot. Instead, a FedEx driver turned an ordinary afternoon into something much sweeter.
Malcouronne works at an animal clinic and often brings Georgie along, so the two usually spend lunch breaks unwinding in the car. She was trying to keep to herself when the delivery truck pulled up, but the driver had a surprise waiting.
What happened next left Georgie thrilled, and Malcouronne smiling at a kindness she did not see coming.
“When he got out of the truck, he greeted me with a pleasant ‘Hello!’” Malcouronne says. “I wasn’t sure exactly what his intentions were, but I definitely didn’t expect the kind gesture that was coming!”
He handed Malcouronne two separately packaged dog treats branded FedEx, saying, “This is for him.”

Georgie was rescued from starvation and adopted in March, and he simply adores treats. Of course, it goes without saying that he was very excited about this turn of events.
“It was very cutely packaged, and it had all the ingredients on the back, which I thought was great because Georgie doesn’t have allergies himself, but you never know,” Malcouronne said.
They were both overjoyed by this simple but adorable act. The driver nodded and went off, and Georgie munched on his unexpected treats. Now, he is super thrilled every time he sees a FedEx van.
