Rescue Dog Gets To Sleep In Bed For The First Time, And Her Reactions Are Heartwarming
Sundae had never known what it felt like to live inside a home, or even sleep somewhere warm and quiet. Before her rescue, her world was limited to a junk-filled backyard and a cold garage in Oklahoma City, where she survived a terrible dog-hoarding situation.
After being taken in by the Country Roads Animal Rescue Society, everything started to change. Her foster mom quickly learned that Sundae was gentle, well-mannered, and surprisingly ready to trust, even if she was still cautious around some people.
Then came the moment that changed everything, Sundae finally got to climb into a real bed. Her reaction says more than words ever could.

"We've had her for about a week, and you would never know that she's never been an indoor dog before," Sundae's foster mom, Mugglequeen, wrote in her Reddit post. "She's totally potty trained, incredibly gentle, and she's very polite indoors."
Mugglequeen loves Sundae because she is so sweet and because of her caramel, chocolate, and vanilla coloring. Sundae was initially very cautious around men, but her experienced foster mom knew what to do. She left a pair of her boyfriend's shorts on the bed (which is Sundae's favorite place), and Sundae slowly started to relax.
Well, it was her favorite place until her foster mom showed her how cozy a bed could be. The look on her face when she laid down on it is priceless. It's as if she knew that she was finally safe.
That bed quickly became the best part of her day.

Sundae is also receiving the medical treatments she needs. She is in good overall health, but the vet discovered that she is heartworm positive and needs some dental work. The puppies she gave birth to are all fine and healthy and waiting to be adopted. Sundae is also looking for her forever home.
Sundae’s bed debut feels like the same kind of affection as Eden the rescue dog who wants to hold hands with everyone.

“Her perfect family would have a very chill lifestyle and a ton of patience to help her continue to come out of her shell and gain confidence.” “She will stay with me until her perfect forever family comes along!”
We are sure that a wonderful dog like Sundae won’t wait long.
She is clearly ready for a softer life.
