Two Adorable Cats Are Purrfect Companions Because One Loves Freshness Seals And The Other Enjoys Causing Havoc
Two feline brothers named Ollie and Zero were adopted together, but as they've grown up, their owners have certainly noticed a few critical differences in their personalities. Callie Samuels, who is the pair's mom, says that Zero is undoubtedly the most troublesome.
He is always ready to play, cause problems, and is extremely vocal. Ollie, on the other hand, is more of a calm child.
"While Zero gets into trouble, Ollie sits back and watches with an innocent look on his face. But make no mistake, Ollie can be a little instigator, too." At times, Zero and Ollie’s pawrents feel like those two are taking shifts to ensure that their day is as chaotic as it can be.
With the exception of freshness seals, Ollie's personality is typically much quieter than Zero’s. So, on a fateful day, Samuels pulled out a new container of milk and nonchalantly tossed the freshness seal to Ollie.
She figured he might enjoy batting it around for a while, but then she had no idea that she was going to spark an obsession that would last for a long time. Samuels says that it’s definitely love at first sight.
"Ollie carried it around in his mouth, batted it across the floor, and has played with it ever since," Samuels added.

It even got to the point where "anytime I take the milk out of the fridge, Ollie runs up meowing, and I have to break the news to him that there won’t be a new freshness seal for him every single time."

Even though Ollie loves getting new freshness seals, he makes sure to keep the old ones as well. He never leaves behind a freshness seal, and he loves growing his collection and putting it away in the most random spots.

Samuels adds that she finds freshness seals all around the house now. "Under couch cushions, on the bed, in my shoes, you name it. It’s like he’s keeping them stored around the house in case he’s ever in the mood to play with one at any given moment," says Samuels.
While Ollie loves getting new freshness seals, he also keeps all of the old ones
It’s now established that Ollie is madly obsessed with new seals, but Zero, on the other hand, has never grasped that reality. He enjoys causing havoc more than Ollie does, but freshness seals simply aren't his thing, and watching Ollie's endless obsession develop has only created more confusion for him.
He keeps them stored around the house in case he's ever in the mood to play with one
Samuels says that Zero simply relaxes and watches as Ollie is busy playing with the freshness seal. "If Zero even looks at Ollie while he’s playing with his freshness seal, he will growl and pick the freshness seal up in his mouth to guard it," Samuels added.
Freshness seals just aren’t Zero's thing, and watching Ollie’s obsession grow has only caused him more confusion
Despite the fact that Zero doesn't actually understand it, he doesn't pass judgment on Ollie for his freshness seal obsession. You could say that one prefers unleashing havoc across the house while the other adores freshness seals.
