Abandoned Kitten on the Brink of Death Becomes a Symbol of Love for His Rescuer
It's not uncommon among cat and animal lovers to hear about how cats choose us, or how destiny brings us to the right place at the right time when it comes to animal rescue. Perhaps there's a glimmer of truth to it, or maybe it's simply our nature to believe that everything happens for a reason.
Whatever the case may be, for a kitten named Andy and a woman named Rose, it's almost impossible not to believe that fate intervened and brought this pair together. The truth is, Rose had been wanting to rescue a cat for a long time. One day, her spouse said, "Pull into this gas station."
Rose said:
"We both had this weird feeling that there would be a cat needing help there." Then she saw a poor, tiny kitten lying in the glass and cigarette butts. "His skin was so badly burned from lying on the ground in chemicals and glass."
Rose said:
"The first two nights, I didn't sleep. I stayed awake lying on the floor with my arm in his cat bed so he could hug me. More than anything, he needed to feel safe and loved. So I stayed on the floor with him until he was able to move a little more."
"The night I rescued him, he began his hugging."
His fur fell out, but eventually, in just a week or two, he looked like this:
When he met his sister, the pug, he wasn't very happy, but five minutes later, everything changed.
Now they are the best of friends! He even gives her belly rubs for love. Now they cuddle together all the time.
From the moment Andy was rescued, he couldn't stop cuddling with her. But this story is even more special. You see, Rose herself was given up at birth, and she found Andy just five miles from her birthplace!

It's a miracle they found each other, a miracle for both the rescue and the human.
"We were both orphans, so I think he's my soul mate. Now I CAN'T sleep without him."
