Well, dogs are wonderful, but you already know that. Aren't kids wonderful too?

That's a bit more arguable, but some kids are so good, especially if they don't spend their time trashing things or screeching but instead demonstrating the goodness that exists in the world by performing spontaneous acts of empathy. But allow me to ask you this: when was the last time you gave a hug to an idling animal on the sidewalk?

Not just any animal but two enormous dogs? A while has passed, don't you think?

Most of us would be too frightened to do so and would instead simply leave without making a scene or attracting their attention. However, a young child had the guts to approach them twice and shower them with hugs and affection.

The amazing kid's name is Ibrahim. The other day, Ibrahim was walking to school in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, when he saw a few stray dogs enjoying the morning sun.

He could have just ignored the hounds and kept walking, but he stopped instead to offer them a lovely embrace. He freely gave the hugs while assuming that no one was watching.

However, someone in an adjacent building clearly observed Ibrahim from their window and took a video of the boy's impromptu act of charity and love. He apparently saw the pups lounging around as he was leaving for school.

He came to a stop to give them a beautiful embrace, which he freely provided

He could have simply continued walking, but he made the conscious choice to greet the dogs in the most loving manner possible. He appears to be taking his time with the dogs in the video, but eventually decides it is time to leave.

The video above quickly went viral, with strangers and friends alike applauding Ibrahim’s deeds

He moves a little distance forward before quickly turning around. After pausing for a few moments to reflect, he raced back to the dogs, hugging and petting their canine companions because he could no longer resist the draw.

“I watched the video. “That’s Ibrahim,” Katerina, a family friend of Ibrahim’s, told the reporters, adding that the scenario reflects his unselfish character. “He walks my daughter to school and helps her carry her purse. He’s a wonderful young man.”
