Concerned Citizen Saves Poor Kitten After Seeing Him Thrown From A Moving Car
When you look at the daily statistics of animal cruelty cases, the numbers can be shocking. However, the sad reality is that what you see is just the tip of the iceberg.
Many of these cases go unreported. Furthermore, state governments do not consolidate them.
As a result, calculating the true number is very challenging. But just by observing the news and the content shared on social media, you can easily see that animal cruelty is a rampant problem.
According to statistics, dogs, pets, and livestock are commonly reported as victims of animal cruelty. Just by looking at the numbers, it makes you wonder why people commit such evil acts.
According to The Humane Society of the United States, animal cruelty is akin to other forms of violence. The perpetrator often feels powerless and unnoticed.
They may also be under the influence of others. Their motive is to threaten, shock, intimidate, or offend to demonstrate their rejection of societal rules.
Today, we are looking at the story of a poor kitten named Bravo. A witness saw him being thrown out of the window of a moving vehicle in Leesburg, Virginia.
The witness reported that they observed the incident, which occurred late at night, involving a small white car that resembled a Nissan Cube or a Kia Soul. It was fortunate that a witness happened to be at the scene to save Bravo.
The witness took Bravo home. Afterward, they reported the incident to the Fayette Regional Humane Society (FRHS), which came to their home to pick up the kitten.

FRHS agents then reported the animal cruelty case to the Highland Sheriff’s Office.
Chief humane agent Brad Adams was the one who contacted the Highland County Sheriff’s Office deputy. He expressed gratitude to the compassionate witness who took the time to rescue the cat and report the incident to them.

Bravo is an 8-week-old kitten.
He is quite a sweetheart, according to FRHS Executive Director Dr. Lee Schrader. The cat loves his stuffed lion, which provides him warmth and comfort after the awful experience.
Sadly, Bravo has already lost the tip of his ear. However, the doctor stated he can make a full recovery.

People who are cruel to animals may face charges.
Thanks to the witness's report, FRHS agents are aware of where the car is headed. If anyone has information regarding the person who threw the cat, they may report it to either the Highland County deputy or the humane society.
The cat is now safe in the hands of FRHS and is receiving plenty of love and medical attention. The volunteers have decided to name him Bravo.

After Bravo arrived at the center, FRHS posted a video of him the next day.
Bravo was terrified and a bit shaken up after being harmed by being tossed from a vehicle window. He now knows that human hands can also be gentle and provide comfort and security. Here is Bravo moments after he arrived at our animal care and adoption center the other night.
After a few days, Bravo went to a loving foster home. This is where he'll learn to start life with a forever family.
Finally, he's in his fur-ever home!

Fayette Regional Humane Society, the animal protection organization that cared for Bravo.

Bravo is finally adopted by an owner who has two cats.
Finally, he'll spend his days with a loving family, including two cat sisters, Fluffy and Midnight. After going through a traumatic experience, Bravo has finally achieved his happy ending.
We hope that Bravo will have a wonderful life ahead of him. He's now with a family that's ready to give him lots of care and love.
