Teary Mom Searches For Her Lost Dog For Days, Jumps Into The River To Rescue Her, And The Footage Goes Viral
Being reunited with our cherished pets is a great comfort because losing a pet can be incredibly painful for both the animal and the owner. You'll both need some time to adjust if your pet has been missing for a while.
When pets go missing, we typically find them within a couple of days or weeks. However, there are times when this isn't always the case, regrettably.
You might discover that you both need some time to readjust to normal family life if your dog or cat disappears for an extended period. In the event that your pet goes missing, keep in mind that the sooner you begin searching for them, the more likely it is that you will find them.
After a 60-mile, four-day search, a woman was tearfully reunited with her missing dog. After Violet, the dog, went missing while out for a stroll in Manchester, United Kingdom's Reddish Vale Country Park, Alifiya Mohamedbhai feared that she had been taken.
Following Violet's collar tracker, the 33-year-old and a companion searched for four days before the Apple AirTag reconnected and directed them to the animal on an embankment. The two women's emotional reunion is captured on camera as they sob together in relief.

The dog's owner said:
"I just couldn’t stop crying. It was insane," the 33-year-old woman told the media. "I’d completely lost faith in finding her. I thought someone had stolen her. The house has been empty and quiet, and we’ve missed her annoying bark. She’s not even an exploring dog, and she hates going on walks."
The woman’s Facebook post about the reunion received emotional reactions, with users saying it gave them goosebumps

Alifiya claims she had blisters from walking 62 miles in four days to find her beloved dog.
"I’m exhausted. Every single bone in my body is aching. I’ve got blisters on my feet," she said. "We tried the app again [yesterday], and for the first time, we got a location. When we got there, the AirTag kept pinging and pointing towards the water.
When I saw her… I didn’t even think of the rocks or how deep the river was. I just jumped in. I just couldn’t believe she was there and unharmed."

Thankfully, the little puppy was uninjured. Alifiya revealed that she found her beloved dog on Facebook.
"We found her," the post reads. "I can’t believe it, but my baby is home. What a crazy few days it has been. I cannot thank everyone enough."
