Teary Mom Searches For Her Lost Dog For Days, Jumps Into The River To Rescue Her, And The Footage Goes Viral
A 33-year-old woman spent four days searching for her lost dachshund like it was a full-time job, and the moment she finally found Violet, she didn’t ease into it. She just jumped straight into the river.
Alifiya Mohamedbhai feared the worst after Violet went missing on a walk, and the house went from “annoying bark” to total silence. She cried nonstop, posted on Facebook, and even used the app again when she thought her AirTag might give her a clue, only for it to start pinging and pointing toward the water.
When the location led her to the river, that’s when the reunion turned into a viral rescue.
Alifiya Mohamedbhai feared that her dog, Violet, was stolen after she went missing on a walk

While Alifiya was convinced Violet might have been stolen, the silence at home felt louder than ever, especially with that “annoying bark” missing from every room.
The dog's owner said:
"I just couldn’t stop crying. It was insane," the 33-year-old woman told the media. "I’d completely lost faith in finding her. I thought someone had stolen her. The house has been empty and quiet, and we’ve missed her annoying bark. She’s not even an exploring dog, and she hates going on walks."
The woman’s Facebook post about the reunion received emotional reactions, with users saying it gave them goosebumps

After walking 62 miles in four days and dealing with blisters, she finally got a location again, and the AirTag kept pointing straight to the river.
Alifiya claims she had blisters from walking 62 miles in four days to find her beloved dog.
"I’m exhausted. Every single bone in my body is aching. I’ve got blisters on my feet," she said. "We tried the app again [yesterday], and for the first time, we got a location. When we got there, the AirTag kept pinging and pointing towards the water.
When I saw her… I didn’t even think of the rocks or how deep the river was. I just jumped in. I just couldn’t believe she was there and unharmed."
This is similar to the moment a man’s eyes glistened when he reunited with his beloved dog.

The second Alifiya saw Violet unharmed in the water, she didn’t stop to think about rocks or depth, she just jumped in and went for her.
Thankfully, the little puppy was uninjured. Alifiya revealed that she found her beloved dog on Facebook.
"We found her," the post reads. "I can’t believe it, but my baby is home. What a crazy few days it has been. I cannot thank everyone enough."
