Mama Cat Is Ecstatic After Reuniting With Her Newborn Kitten
Gisèle the cat's life changed completely after she became pregnant. Sadly, her family decided to abandon her outside despite the harsh and cold winter conditions. Her chances of survival were slim to none.
Thankfully, Gisèle’s 12-year-old sister overheard the conversation and decided to get involved and help. The little girl knew she had to ask the neighbors for assistance, and once she did, it became clear that the cat's situation was urgent and that she needed proper care and supervision.
The neighbor called the appropriate authorities, who brought Gisèle to an animal shelter. A few days later, Gisèle gave birth to a healthy kitten named Pruno.

For a while, it seemed as if Gisèle and her baby were going to be fine, but a day later, things suddenly took an unexpected turn. Gisèle became unable to care for Pruno and refrained from eating, so she had to be rushed to the vet clinic by rescue workers, where they realized that she was suffering from an infection.
Gisèle missed her baby terribly after recovering from surgery. She even started crying out for him, which prompted the rescue to plan a reunion.
It turned out to be the sweetest thing ever:

Gisèle and Pruno currently reside in a foster home where they receive all the care and attention they need. Gisèle and Pruno couldn’t be happier now!
